     Avoid foods that can interact with medications.
     Use fats and cholesterol moderation.
     Eat plenty of vegetables, fruits and whole grain products.
     Limit sugar and salt.
     Full complement of vitamins and minerals every day, including calcium.

Limit drug abuse

The anti-inflammatory drugs such as naproxen (Aleve) and ibuprofen (Advil) can cause inflammation of the stomach, intestines and affect people with high blood pressure or heart disease. A study by US researchers provide some evidence that ginger and willow bark extract may reduce pain.
